John E. Anastasio, C.P.A. graduated from Boston College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and from the University of New Haven in 2002 with a Master of Science in Taxation.
John joined Teplitzky & Company in November 1998 and was promoted to principal in October 2000. He is actively involved in the firm's accounting, auditing, employee benefit plan aduiting and financial reporting. He has over fifteen years of experience auditing employee benefit plans. John has been providing tax return planning, compliance, accounting and business advisory services to closely held businesses for thirty years.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
John serves or has served on the Board of Directors of the Saint Raphael Foundation, Woodbridge Country Club, Amity Club and the Woodbridge Child Center, Inc. In addition, John was also on the audit compliance & risk committee for the Saint Raphael Healthcare System and is currently on The Choate's Parents Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Amity Club and the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
In addition, John has been selected for the New Haven Business Forty Under 40, in recognition of professional achievement and community development.
